BNet is a popular web show founded by Bailey Bestul. It has an arrangement of skits and characters, including Valley Girl, and the infamous Grandma (later accompanied by Grandpa). It also includes dares and comments from real kids around the world, including Kate Winslet’s (from Titanic) daughter.
I went on YouTube one day and recorded a quick clip from my webcam of me talking (you can still see it on my old channel youtube.com/snowballcare) and was originally titled the Snow Show, as it was published on the Snowball Foundation of America’s website. It later changed to BNet, after Bailey Internet, and has made giant leaps from there.
Most characters are portrayed by Brooke and Bailey Bestul, but occasionally we have special guests. Some popular characters are Grandma, Valley Girl, Grandpa, and Mimi and Fifi.
I use several things. We mainly use a Canon Rebel T1i, A VADO HD, a Kodak Playsport, an iSight Webcam, a Dell Webcam, a SONY Cyber-Shot, and a SONY Hybrid.
I mainly use a MacBook, and a Dell Inspiron 1525. I have used a SONY VAIO once or twice, and also an iPod Touch 4G.
I like to go with the cheap stuff. I typically use simple programs like iMovie and Windows Movie Maker.
Whenever I have time, which with school and all, can be potentially quite difficult, but I'll try, trust me.
Typically, people (or anything else) aren’t allowed on our show in person, unless we invite them ourselves (through email). Sometimes, though, if you send me a fantastic video of yourself doing something amazing to my email (baileytbestul@gmail.com) you might just see yourself on the site. And, you can always appear through word of mouth (our mouths) on one of our Commentations episodes. Just leave us a comment on the blog!
Well, we don’t usually post links to our fans’ sites on our blog, but I can still help. Advertise. Advertise everywhere. Get business cards. Post your links in documents, on the bottom of your emails, in chat rooms, anywhere. Just advertise.
It’s actually not very hard. I sort of have a form email that I send to all companies that have products I am interested in reviewing. But be patient. It may take a while for you to get your name out there, and don’t get discouraged easily. You’ll only get about 1 product in all out of every 100 companies you send emails to when you start.
From everywhere, Everything, and Anyone. Bring a notepad, or something to write with everywhere you go. I get ideas all the time, especially from random people. We came up with the highly successful Grandma skit from when we volunteered at our local nursing home!
I’m sorry, that’d be illegal. You can, however, buy them by visiting the links I give on the product reviews. I think you’ll like them. Can’t find the link? I’ll happily email it to you if you contact me through the contact page.
Sure! I love doing that kind of thing.
Not good. Fun to play with, Awful to eat. It is now living with my grandpa, who takes one small bite of it each day. Happy Birthday George.
Happily, I love doing that kind of thing. I might even help maintain it for you, too! Plus, I cost a lot less than any website provider out there!
What aren’t I doing right now?
I’m sorry to say, our store only ships to the US and Canada. You can, however, still request a personalized shirt you'd like to see in the store.
At the bottom of the product description page, there is a button titled “SIZES”. Click that, and a whole size chart will show up. If the children’s sizes don’t fit you, try going back to the main page and look for an adult version of the shirt, or vice versa.
Their designs are more complicated. That, or they are made better.
Sorry, we only have an online store for now.
That sale was for May only, and it went well! Look for it next year, maybe we’ll make it an annual thing!
If I bought everyone who asked me for a free t-shirt, a t-shirt, both the company and I would be broke.
